Professor John Anthony RUDD

​Chief Scientific Advisor

John is a Professor at the School of Biomedical Sciences, the Chinese Unviersity of Hong Kong (CUHK). He continues his service at the CUHK for almost 30 years. He has a Ph.D. in Pharmacology (University of Bradford, 1991) and worked on anti-emetic research for over 30 years. He collaborated with 27 pharmaceuticals in drug discovery projects. He introduced >90M research funding to academia. His research team currently has 10 research staffs and PhD students.

Dr. Julia Yuen Hang LIU

Chief Executive Officer

Julia is a Research Associate at the School of Biomedical Sciences, CUHK. She graduated with a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences (CUHK, 2017), worked on Alzheimer's diseases, and simultaneously started a side-project on efficient technology to record gut bio-electrical.signal. Up to 2022, she has 16 publications, nine of which are in the bio-electrical research field. She begins the path to commercialize the technology in 2020 and becomes one of the co-founder of Gut Rhythm. ​
